Why it works
- The hero offers two doors: shop the collection, or take a one-minute skin consultation if you are not ready to buy.
- A three-step story (The Pasture, The Render, The Jar) turns "farm to face" from a slogan into something you can see.
- Selling out is framed as a feature: small weekly batches, with a back-in-stock signup.
- An announcement bar carries the flagship store opening, batch timing and the free shipping threshold.
- Calm serif type and a cream, brown and sage palette feel like a skincare house, not a market stall.
The mission
Southern Oaks raises the animals behind its skincare on its own ranch and dairy, and renders every batch by hand. The store had to feel as considered as the product, and explain tallow to people trying it for the first time.
The design leads with provenance and education, then makes buying easy, with a consultation for anyone still deciding.
