Web design in Norwich, CT

Web design for Norwich and New London County businesses.

I'm Cevan Long, a web designer and conversion rate optimization (CRO) specialist based in Lisbon, a short drive from downtown Norwich. I design and build WordPress and Shopify websites for local businesses, then stay on as your long-term website partner, so the site keeps bringing in calls, bookings and sales.

What local customers look for

Found, trusted, contacted.

Most people pick a local business in a few seconds on their phone. Every site I build is set up for those three steps.

  1. Found in local search

Service area pages for the towns you cover, and on-page SEO built around the searches your customers actually make.

  2. Trusted at first glance

Your Google reviews on your own site, real photos of the people behind the business, and your hours and service area where people look for them.

  3. Easy to contact

Tap-to-call on every screen, short forms that work on a phone, and tracking on calls and forms, so you can see what the site brings in.

Where I work

Close enough to meet.

I'm based in Lisbon, and most of New London County is within about 30 minutes, so meeting up now and then is easy. Most of the work happens over video calls and email, which keeps projects moving.

Common questions

Questions local businesses ask.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, on occasion. Most of the work happens over video calls and email, which keeps things moving, but I'm glad to meet up with local clients around New London County when it helps.

How long does a new website take?

About 12 weeks from the kickoff call to launch day. That covers discovery, design, the build, and a round of review and testing on a private staging site. After launch the work keeps going, with updates, monitoring and monthly improvements.

What happens after launch?

Launch is the start, not the finish line. You'll have a dedicated, long-term website partner: send me content updates and changes whenever you need them, and I take care of them. I also keep the site updated and monitored, send monthly reports, and make improvements based on what visitors actually do.

Who owns the website and the domain?

You always own your domain. It's registered in your name, not mine, because you should have full control of it. The website itself becomes fully yours once the balance is paid at the end of your one-year term.
